- Favorable Conditions: Occurs in warm 70's to 85 F (21 to 30 C) wet weather, with periods of wet leaf tissue.

- Symptoms: Symptoms initially appear as 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7 cm) diameter spots that can coelesce causing relatively large areas of decline. Once spots coelesce causing areas of decline the symptoms are sometimes confused with anthracnose.
