- Favorable Conditions: hot, with high humidity (above 90%), humidity will also result in white, aerial mycelium at the periphery of the ring, air temperature 86-95 degrees F (30-35 degrees C), good light, well-aerated soil
- Hosts:Creeping Bentgrass, colonial bentgrass, velvet bentgrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Annual Bluegrass (Poa annua), bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon), Tall Fescue, Kentucky Bluegrass, St. Augustinegrass, zoysiagrass, fine fescues
- Symptoms: yellow to reddish brown circular or crescent shaped ring that can be up to 1' (30 cm) in diameter, grass may become chlorotic, and may produce frog eyes
