  • Geographic Distribution: North America (temperate), Europe, Africa, Australia


  • Favorable Conditions: Young (3-5 year old) creeping bentgrass turf. Infection of roots and crowns takes place during cool wet weather in spring and fall


  • Hosts:Creeping bentgrass, velvet bentgrass, colonial bentgrass


  • Symptoms: Patches appear as bleached out or bronzed color turf. The patches are often colonized by weeds.
